Hello everyone, The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) released the 2024 Allied Services Recruitment notification on January 9, 2024. The notification includes 24 vacancies for the Subordinate Allied Services.
Candidates can apply online from December 31, 2023 to January 27, 2024
The posts are part of the Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Allied Services / Posts (Group-C).
The HPPSC Allied Services Recruitment process is divided into 2 stages: The Preliminary Exam and the Main Examination.
For Class-III positions, matriculation and 10+2 completion from an HP institution are required, Candidates must have a bachelor's degree. Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 and 45 years old as of January 1, 2023, but specific requirements outlined in the official job announcement must also be met.
The main subjects that you will need to go through should be -
History, Geography and Socio-economic development of Himachal Pradesh.
Knowledge of current events of national and international importance.
Indian National Movement and History of India.
Indian Polity and governance-constitution, political system, Panchayati Raj, Public policy, Rights Issues.
Eligibility criteria -
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from an Indian institution established by an Act of the Central or State Legislature to be considered for this role. It's also important to remember that applicants who possess technical and professional credentials accepted by the State Government are qualified.
This exam include 200 questions, and allotted time is 3 hours for Pre exam.

This exam is considered as a moderate level of difficulty. Make sure to follow the GK more.
The HPPSC Allied Services cutoff marks change every year based upon various factors which include the number of vacancies, the total number of candidates appeared & more.
Out of 200, previous year cut off was 110 - 115 for general.
In 2019 the cut off was 87.25.
Its expected that the cutoff will go high as the number of posts are limited, till further notice we can not say anything about the vacancies. Its 24.
In order to prepare for this exam you must need to construct yourself. Too much devotion & through knowledge is needed.
